Selahattin Kaya, the founder and Chairman of Group Companies of Selka,is graduated from Yıldız Technical University in 1972 as a Civil Engineer . Between 1973-1976 he worked as an engineer in the control TRT and Iller Bank. After leaving his post he founded Selka construction company in 1976 . Beganing commercial operations in a small office, as a sole proprietorship until 1990, especially in the construction of infrastructure and public buildings he successfully completed 51 separate works. Becamed incorporated in 1990 ın parallel with the increasing volume of business and the growth, family-owned company started to continue its activities as Selka Construction Trade and , Industry Co., Ltd. Until the end of 1990 to 2007 for 55 various projects were successfully completed.
Established in Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone during the facility commitment in which Furnishers Site has an127 000 m² closed area, ready-mixed concrete production evaluating the market demand in 1996, Selka Ready Mixed Concrete Industry and Trade Co., Ltd.was established to demand for the purposes of evaluating the production and marketing of Professional.
Selka Mining Construction and Construction Materials. Tic. and San. Ltd. Sti. Established taking into account the needs of Selka Ready Mixed Concrete of Commerce and Industry Inc.'s aggregate market demand . With the establishment of the reserve is rich in Eskişehir plant began production of crushed stone, and the annual capacity of the plant in 2010 was 1.5 million tons.

Evaluated by ındustrial development of our position in the construction sector, Selka Prefabricated Building Components sec. Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. established in Eskisehir Organized Industrial Zone.
The Bilecik and Vezirhan viaducts in the High-Speed Train Project between Ankara and Istanbul were manufactured and assembled as well as T26 Tunnel Segment production was done on this route. A large part of procurement of the ready-mixed concrete, infrastructure, engineering structure, viaduct constructions and bridge beams between Polatlı-Eskişehir were undertaken.
In order to have a say in the rapidly developing IT sector in the world and in Turkey and to carry out R&D studies, Selka Yazılım Bilişim Teknoloji San. ve Tic. A.S. was established in Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone Technopark Settlement.
The construction of the viaducts belonging to the connection roads of the South Marmara motorway belonging to Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge was carried out by us.
In the Blue Barret competition organized by Turkey Ready-Mixed Concrete Association, Selka Ready-Mixed Concrete Cukurhisar facility has acquired 2nd prize in Turkey. Then, Selka Eskisehir Handball Sports Club was established. In the first year of its career, it has won the championship title in the Men's Handball 1st League and moved up to the Men's Handball Super League.
